The two casinos SaskGaming runs

Checked October 7, 2026

By Tia Monroe

SaskGaming runs two casinos for the province: Casino Regina and Casino Moose Jaw, 65.9 km apart in a straight line. One sits in Regina's former Union Station; the other is joined to Temple Gardens Mineral Spa in downtown Moose Jaw.

A station turned casino floor

Casino Regina occupies the city's former Union Station. The last VIA train left Regina on January 16, 1990. The federal government designated the station a heritage site in 1991, and its conversion to a casino was approved in 1994. After a renovation in 1995, it re-opened as Casino Regina in 1996.

Over 600 slot machines fill the floor, with denominations from $0.01 to $5.00. Live table games number more than 20, including seven blackjack tables, three roulette tables, baccarat, Three Card Poker, Chase the Flush and eight poker tables. Three standalone dealer assist podiums and 54 Touch Bet terminals sit alongside them.

Poker has its own room, open from 12pm every day. It closes at 4am Sunday to Thursday and at 6am on Fridays and Saturdays. Limit games run from $1-$2 to $100-$200, and No Limit games from $1-$2 to $10-$25. The room's phone is 306-787-2950, and private tables are booked at least four days ahead.

Visiting Casino Regina

Casino Regina is at 1880 Saskatchewan Drive, Regina, Saskatchewan S4P 0B2, phone 1-800-555-3189. Monday to Thursday, it opens 9am to 4am. Fridays and Saturdays run 24 hours. Sunday is different: the casino's own pages give conflicting hours, so call before a Sunday visit. Holiday hours should be checked on the casino's own site.

Union Station Restaurant + Bar opens Monday to Thursday 9am to 10:30pm, Friday 9am to 1am, Saturday 8am to 1am and Sunday 8am to 10:30pm. Crossroads, in the west gaming area, keeps 9am to 2am Sunday to Thursday and 24 hours on Fridays and Saturdays. The Show Lounge hosts more than 200 events a year, all 19+, seating 716 for regular seating shows or 900 for general admission.

Smoking and e-cigarettes are not allowed on the gaming floor; designated smoking areas are outdoors. Backpacks and duffle bags stay out, and devices are not allowed at table games or in Touch Bet pits. Approved service animals and guide dogs are permitted. There is no hotel, but Players Club members get discounts at downtown partner hotels: Delta, DoubleTree and Wingate.

Casino Moose Jaw, joined to the spa

Casino Moose Jaw is downtown at 21 Fairford Street East, Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan S6H 0C8, phone 1-306-694-3888. It fills a 12,000 foot facility leased from Temple Gardens Mineral Spa and attached to it. A pedway crosses Fairford Street to the spa's hotel. The casino has no hotel of its own; Temple Gardens Hotel & Spa is next door.

Every day, the doors open at 9am and close at 4am. Holiday hours should be checked on the casino's own site. Nearly 200 slot machines share the floor with the classics: blackjack, roulette and poker. The casino opened on September 6, 2002. In 2024 an extensive renovation opened up the gaming floor, drawing inspiration from the Snowbird planes and the historic culture of the city.

Parking fees apply, but parking turns free once a guest earns 10 Players Club points on the same day. CMJ Express is open during regular casino hours.

What the two share

Both casinos are run by the Saskatchewan Gaming Corporation, or SaskGaming, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lotteries and Gaming Saskatchewan since June 1, 2023. One Players Club covers the pair, and points expire only after 12 months of inactivity. The minimum age is 19, ID is compulsory, and government-issued ID may be requested at any time. Each has a GameSense Info Centre, with staff at 306-787-2122.

Game Break, SaskGaming's voluntary and confidential self-exclusion, covers all casinos in the province and PlayNow.com for 6 months to 5 years. Enrolment goes through Customer Service or Security at the casino, or by appointment with GameSense staff. Neither casino offers a mobile app or online gaming. Both warn that falsified social media ads for online platforms using their names are a scam.

Questions

What are Casino Regina's Sunday hours?

The casino's own pages give different Sunday hours, so this guide prints none. A call to 1-800-555-3189 before a Sunday visit settles it. The rest of the week is clear: Monday to Thursday 9am to 4am, and 24 hours on Fridays and Saturdays. Holiday hours should be checked on the casino's own site.

Is parking free at Casino Moose Jaw?

Fees apply at Casino Moose Jaw. Parking becomes free when a guest earns 10 Players Club points the same day.

Can Casino Regina be played online?

Casinos Regina and Moose Jaw offer gaming only at their physical locations, with no mobile app and no online gaming. Social media ads for online platforms that use their names are falsified, and the casinos call them a scam. They name playnow.com as Saskatchewan's only legal gaming website.
