Casino Moose Jaw opened its doors downtown on September 6, 2002. An extensive renovation in 2024 opened up the gaming floor. It drew inspiration from the Snowbird planes and from the historic culture of the city. Anyone who last walked through before 2024 will find a more open room than they remember.
Nearly 200 slot machines stand on the renovated floor. The tables keep to the classics, as the casino puts it: blackjack, roulette and poker. That is a short list, and it keeps the choice at the door simple. CMJ Express is open during regular casino hours, which works out to 9am to 4am, seven days a week.
The casino does not own its building. It occupies a 12,000 foot facility leased from Temple Gardens Mineral Spa, and the two are attached. A pedway crosses over Fairford Street to the spa's hotel. That puts the gaming floor and a hotel room one walk apart, with no need to cross the street at ground level.
Casino Moose Jaw has no hotel of its own. Anyone planning to stay the night looks next door, to Temple Gardens Hotel & Spa. Questions about rooms go to the hotel itself, not to the casino.
Casino Moose Jaw is at 21 Fairford Street East, Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan S6H 0C8. The phone number is 1-306-694-3888. Parking here comes with a fee. It turns free when a guest earns 10 Players Club points, on the same day. That club is shared with Casino Regina, and its points expire only after 12 months of inactivity.
Entry is for ages 19 and up, and ID is compulsory. Government-issued ID may be requested at any time. A GameSense Info Centre is on site, and GameSense staff can be reached at 306-787-2122.
The Saskatchewan Gaming Corporation (SaskGaming), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lotteries and Gaming Saskatchewan (LGS), runs the casino. Play happens only in the building, with no mobile app and no online gaming. Falsified social media ads for online platforms using its name are a scam, the casino warns.
From Regina City Hall, Casino Moose Jaw is 65.3 km away in a straight line. Saskatoon City Hall is 208.6 km off, and Prince Albert is 312.8 km. No drive times are given on this site.
